Real innovations are developed in our product development center on the basis of state-of-the-art technologies and the latest nutritional findings. In addition to new raw materials and modern packaging materials and formats, we are also working on the development of innovative production methods.

Product development

In order to meet market requirements and customer needs as well as changing values and current trends, our products are developed by a highly qualified team of food chemists, technologists, nutritionists and veterinarians with the target group in mind. Successful product development requires product-specific knowledge, creativity, a high degree of imagination and numerous test series.

Maintenance

In addition to the area of new product development, our colleagues in the maintenance business work together with quality assurance, purchasing and production to ensure the consistent quality of our products. Recipes are constantly optimized, specifications for the end products are drawn up and their declarations are defined and checked.

MARKET RESEARCH

For our products to be successful, it is important that our target group - the pets - are convinced by our products. To this end, we work together with independent market research institutes. Preferences are determined through feeding tests in defined households. This is the most important tool for a product developer. What is developed in the food industry using sensory methods is tested in the pet food industry using so-called acceptance tests. The statistical evaluation of the test results leads to a collection of representative and significant tests in our database. This enables us to build up know-how and identify potential for improvement.

Thanks to a complete traceability system and our own supplier audits, we are able to check the safety of the materials used at all times.
